We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Water Resources Officer to join our Strategy and Performance business unit. Reporting to the Principal Hydrogeologist, this position will be responsible for the provision of high quality technical, licensing and policy advice across the SRW business and to our customers and stakeholders.

We are seeking an individual with a background in water resources, hydrogeology, or hydrology who is able to project manage a wide range of water resources related projects, including supply, demand, and alternative water resource assessments (licence applications and groundwater and surface water resource appraisals).

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the key selection criteria below:

Diploma or Degree qualified in water resources, hydrogeology, hydrology or a related field.

1. Previous experience in water resources, hydrogeology or hydrology, with knowledge and ability to conduct technical investigations relating to development and use of models.
2. Ability to analyse and report on data, including the drafting of reports and presentations.
3. Ability to communicate clearly with and influence customers and stakeholders.
4. Ability to communicate clearly with and influence customers and stakeholders.
5. Successful time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
