About the Role

We are seeking Bush Regeneration Supervisors for the Brisbane area. You will contribute to the recovery of a range of sites containing a diversity of ecosystem types. You will have the opportunity to apply a range of restoration approaches, including assisted regeneration and revegetation, and carry out weed control within old growth ecosystems. The aim of ecological restoration projects is to restore the health, integrity, diversity and resilience of vegetation and habitat. You will be directly linked with this process by applying regular weed control while also carrying out other tasks such as planting.

We will also consider applicants based in other South East Queensland locations, such as Lockyer Valley, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A passion for ecological restoration and the environment.
• A high level of physical fitness.
• A commitment to safe work practices and a willingness to promote Ecosure's safety culture.
• Strong SEQ plant identification skills - native and exotic across a range of ecosystems.
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience applying a range of different ecological restoration approaches.
• Experience in revegetation practices.

As a Bush Regeneration Supervisor, you will have:

• Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management (Natural Area Restoration) or equivalent level of experience.
• Experience leading team members in the field.

Overall, the following skills and attributes would be highly regarded:

• Chemcert or ACDC certification.
• Manual Drivers Licence + 4WD.
• First Aid/CPR.
• Chainsaw ticket.
