About the Role

Due to recent growth, we are looking for a passionate Team Manager to join our Wildlife Services team in South-East Queensland This role will be managing project operations and logistics from inception to completion and undertaking work across Australia for a range of clients (primarily local and state government).

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Formal qualifications in business management, project management, natural resource management or related discipline.
• A self-motivated, friendly, proactive, professional, positive attitude, and be reliable with a high level of integrity.
• 3+ years' experience in an operations role or similar in the environment/consulting industry.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to:
  • Oversee daily operations.
  • Organise, resource and schedule allocation of work across various teams and projects.
  • Develop and oversee budgets.
  • Project manage within scope, budget, and timeframes.
  • Optimise pricing strategies and find efficiencies to maximise profitability.
• High level interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
• Strong bid and proposal management skills.
• The ability to build successful team dynamics, guide direct reports and mentor junior staff.
• Experience in business development and assisting with securing a pipeline of work.
• Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise and effectively manage competing tasks across projects and teams.
• Support strategic recruitment for ongoing growth.

The following would be highly regarded:

• Tertiary qualification in wildlife conservation, environmental science or similar.
• Experience in wildlife management.
• Experience working in and around large construction projects.
• Passionate about wildlife, conservation and achieving positive environmental outcomes.
• Prior consulting experience.
