About Us

TreeChange exists to re-establish native forests on unviable cleared farm land. Our pilot project in Bindi, Victoria sees us planting 450,000 stems on 1,500 acres. An opportunity has arisen for a motivated self-starter to join our team and contribute their skills and expertise to changing the world and improving the environment.

Main Duties:

  • Tractor operation (mowing / slashing / track maintenance)
  • Weed control
  • Tree planting and seed collection
  • Contractor supervision
  • General farm duties (fence management, etc.)
  • Data collection
  • Record keeping

About You

If you have experience in forestry and / or farming, love working outdoors, and want to get involved in a life-changing project, then we'd love to hear from you. We're particularly keen to meet people with the following personal attributes:

 To be considered for this role, you'll also need the following:

  • Tractor accreditation certificate (or be willing to acquire it)
  • Chemical Users Certificate (or be willing to acquire it)
  • First aid certificate (preferred)
  • Current Driver’s License and reliable transport (essential)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in forestry and / or farm management


A pay rate of $26 to $30 per hour, including superannuation, is available and will be set according to suitability and experience.

The position is initially offered part-time (estimated 2 to 3 days per week), but there is scope for it to increase to full-time in 12 to 24 months.
