Our team of coastal engineers and scientists are experts in coastal and estuary management, coastal hazard analysis, numerical modelling, coastal engineering design, beach nourishment, and dredging projects. We are growing our operations in NSW, and are in need of a coastal engineer and/or scientist to join our team of experts - and deliver high quality projects for our public and private sector clients across the state.

The role is ideally based in our Parramatta office, however for an outstanding candidate we would be willing to discuss options for the role to be regionally based, under a working from home arrangement.

The right team member will have: 

  • 10+ years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling.
  • Knowledge of who’s who in the water industry in NSW and rapport enough to organically develop those relationships.
  • Business insights, accumen, expertise.
  • Significant team work skills and a strategic and collaborative approach.
  • Stellar customer service focus; an interest in creating excellent outcomes.
  • Communications skills – to know when to consult, when to advise and when to guide.

Key responsibilities:

We seek an experienced Water Engineer; a specialist in the Floodplains sector, to help grow our existing NSW operation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building & expanding our NSW business.
  • Delivering high quality expert advice to clients.
  • Tendering and delivery of flood and drainage studies.
  • Managing your own projects and managing others in the team as needed.
  • Working with a large network of experts across the business.
  • Assisting to grow the team to meet business needs and the needs of our clients.
