About the branch
The Regional Services Division is responsible for the service delivery of initiatives, programs and services. On-ground works and services will conserve environments, protect culture and heritage, manage visitor facilities and improve opportunities and support fire and emergency management. Service delivery is managed and delivered within the demands of the Divisional Action Plan and the requirements of the Division’s state-wide fire and emergency role and in partnership with community and government agencies.
Each region consists of a diverse range of parks and reserves. Staff working within the region are responsible for providing efficient and effective implementation of a broad range of often complex park management functions including natural, cultural and built asset management, visitor management and services, stakeholder management, park planning and emergency response
About the role and your responsibilities:
We are looking for 2 Regional Project Coordinators (Biodiversity Recovery), to work on supporting the project and an implementation role for projects at a regional level. You will focus upon delivering weed and predator control and fencing projects as part of a defined program. Projects delivered by the Regional Project Coordinator Biodiversity Recovery are time bound and require clear focus on delivery timeframes and successful project management.
In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks and work in all phases of a project. The Regional Project Coordinator Biodiversity Recovery must have a thorough understanding of project management and of the goals of the work and prioritise and track the implementation of the work. You can report through the Regional Programme Co-ordinator Biodiversity Recovery, Delivery Manager, Planning Manager, Regional Recovery or Manager Regional Operations areas dependent on the specific project complexity and focus and requirements.
