Are you interested in working as a Ranger for at Girraween National Park with QPWS & Partnerships??

The focus of this role is to assist the Ranger in Charge with the supervision of a small team of rangers responsible for the management of parks and forests within the Granite Belt work unit, including Girraween National Park.

The successful applicant will undertake and oversee relevant administrative, operational, compliance and workplace health and safety duties. Experience in staff supervision, leadership, natural and cultural resource management, multi-use forestry practices, asset maintenance, visitor management and fire management is highly desirable.

The role is also required to undertake road, track and infrastructure construction and maintenance duties with the ability to operate and maintain heavy and small plant and equipment. Driving 4WD vehicles on unsealed and steep roads, travelling away from the home base into remote areas and assisting other bases with projects and work programs, is common practice.
