As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our leadership team based at our Sydney Head Office in Terrey Hills.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Business Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across the Toolijooa.

The role acts as the bridge between strategic business objectives and day-to-day project delivery, ensuring systems, processes and operational standards are consistently applied across all branches.

You will provide leadership and support to Project Managers, coordinate operational improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with Regional Manager, Project Managers, HR, HSEQ and other business functions to improve project delivery outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring operational and project delivery performance across all branches.
• Supporting Project Managers to improve project outcomes and resolve operational challenges.
• Driving consistency in project management, contract management and operational systems.
• Leading operational audits, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinating major cross-branch projects and contracts.
• Managing operational KPI reporting and performance monitoring.
• Supporting lead management, tender tracking and business development systems.
• Facilitating collaboration and resource sharing across branches.
• Working closely with the Regional Manager and support teams to improve operational performance.
• Championing quality, compliance, safety and operational best practice across the business.

About You

You are an experienced operational leader who enjoys building systems, improving processes and helping teams succeed.

You are highly organised, commercially aware and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational support.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Minimum 7 years' experience in project management, operations management or business management roles.
• Experience leading multi-site operations, project teams or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, operational systems and process improvement.
• Experience implementing systems, reporting frameworks and performance measures.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence, coach and support leaders to achieve outcomes.
• Experience using project management, CRM and Microsoft Office platforms.
• Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Business Management, Environmental Management or a related discipline are highly regarded.

Travel Requirements

This role is based at our Sydney Head Office in Terrey Hills and will involve semi regular travel to regional NSW and Queensland branches, including occasional overnight stays.
