The Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is a Victorian Government statutory authority whose role is to work with and support natural resource management agencies, Traditional Owners and local communities to improve sustainable land use, biodiversity and water resources management extending from Ballarat south through the Western District Lakes and Victorian Volcanic Plains including Colac and Geelong, through the Otway Ranges to the coast along the Great Ocean Road.
About the opportunity
The Project Officer - Sustainable Agriculture supports the delivery of sustainable agriculture projects within the Community, Agriculture and Volunteers team. A key focus is coordinating delivery partners including Landcare to implement the Victorian Government–funded Small Blocks Big Dreams and Testing the Waters land stewardship projects.
The Project Officer also supports the delivery of other sustainable agriculture initiatives as required, working under the guidance of the Senior Project Officer and Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator. Other responsibilities may include coordinating Corangamite CMA-led sustainable agriculture events, provide project administration support, and work with the communications team to produce e-newsletters, social media posts, flyers and other communication materials.
The role is offered part-time (0.6 FTE), and we offer flexible work arrangements and support working from home in combination with working from our main office in Colac and secondary office in Geelong.
Remuneration for the role is $87,326 – $99,611 per annum pro rata depending on experience plus superannuation.
