Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Network (CTRLN) has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Project Officer for their ‘Better Bush for Birds’ project.
The project focuses on restoring and reconnecting woodland habitats across the Central Tablelands region to support declining woodland bird species. Over a four-year period, the project delivers targeted revegetation, protection of scattered paddock trees, habitat connectivity works, monitoring, and community engagement activities in partnership with local Landcare networks, landholders, Aboriginal partners, councils, and research organisations.
About the role:
This position is 0.2 FTE (1 day/week) and is a fixed term, flexible, work from home opportunity which includes field-based work and travel across the region.
The Project Officer is responsible for the coordinated delivery of the Better Bush for Birds project, supporting on-ground works, monitoring and evaluation, landholder engagement, and community participation. The role ensures activities are planned, delivered, monitored, and reported in line with approved project milestones, funding requirements, and regional priorities.
The Project Officer works closely with the Regional Landcare Coordinator, Local Landcare Coordinators, landholders, Aboriginal partners, contractors, and delivery partners to achieve high-quality environmental and community outcomes.

About you:
You have experience in project delivery, monitoring, community engagement, or environmental restoration.
You are organised, a confident communicator and willing and able to travel across the region to project sites with a current driver’s licence and your own transport.
