We are currently recruiting to ASO5 Water Project Officer position.

As a Water Project Officer you will:

• Deliver water projects in collaboration with land managers, stakeholders, and the community.
• Assess water affecting proposals and provide technical and planning advice to landholders, industry and local and state government agencies.
• Support the review and amendment of Water Allocation Plans and Board policies.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders.

About you:

• You have knowledge of and experience with the principles of natural resource management planning.
• You have experience developing policy and contributing to strategic planning processes.
• You have experience managing and delivering projects.
• You are solution driven and have experience collaborating with diverse individuals, organisations and groups on complex problems.
• You have ability to understand, interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations.
• You enjoy working in a team.

Contract: One full-time (37.5 hours per week) ASO5 Water Project Officer role on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2028.

Requirements:

• A satisfactory National Police Check is required.
• A Current class "C" driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
• Applicants must have Australian residency or a current work permit.

Remuneration: Water Project Officer (ASO5): $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
