Wild Tracks is looking for walking track builders for projects in Victoria and NSW. 

The job involves physical work in remote areas in all weather conditions. We are looking for people who enjoy working in the bush, are capable of doing physical work, and are able to comprehend and implement specific instructions independent of direct supervision. Must have a positive attitude and work as part of a team for extended periods of time.

We are interested in the following attributes:

• Experience with dry stone work or mortared stonework.
• Understanding of Walking Track Construction principles.
• Excavator experience/ticket.
• Skid steer loader experience/ticket.
• Experience working in remote areas.
• Chainsaw ticket.
• Light truck license.
• Tertiary qualifications in Conservation Management or Environmental Sciences.
• Work Safely around Aircraft qualification.
• Experience working in remote areas.

Mandatory qualifications:

• First Aid certificate
• White card

Preference will be given for people located within the work region however accommodation can be provided for interstate applicants. 

The work will run from now through to end of April. Ongoing employment may be available for the right candidates.
