Environmental Management Unit (EMU) is a specialised bush regeneration company dedicated to restoring and enhancing Australia's natural environment. We deliver high-quality projects in ecological restoration, weed control, and habitat rehabilitation for government bodies and conservation organisations.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our field teams across multiple levels. Whether you are a Senior Bush Regenerator with extensive SEQ plant knowledge or an enthusiastic Level 1 operator starting your career, EMU offers a supportive environment where you work side-by-side with the owners and senior management.

Core Responsibilities
Implement bush regeneration practices, including manual and chemical weed control, revegetation, and erosion control.
Ensure all fieldwork complies with environmental regulations and EMU’s safety and sustainability protocols.
Accurately complete Daily Record Sheets (DRS) and pre-start documentation via digital platforms.
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and in good working condition.
What We Are Looking For
Mandatory: Construction White Card and a current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains, including manual tasks like lifting and using hand tools.
Experience (Senior Role): Minimum of three years’ practical experience in bush regeneration with strong native and exotic plant ID skills.
Experience (Level 2): Certificate III or higher in Conservation & Ecosystem Management or Horticulture.
Commitment: Punctuality, professional conduct, and a positive attitude are essential.
