Work Environment & Conditions

  • Field roles based across mostly local project sites (FIFO/DIDO availability required).
  • Seeking staff in the Brisbane / Redland Bay Area due to promixmately of several key projects. Local applicants are still encouraged to apply.

As part of our bush regeneration team, you'll apply weed control methods, support revegetation, use tools (e.g., chainsaws/brush cutters), and restore native bushland in diverse environments. You'll be part of a skilled crew delivering real-world ecological impact.

Key duties include:

  • Manual and chemical weed control.
  • Habitat restoration using bush regeneration techniques.
  • Power tool use and safe chemical application.
  • Contributing to field data collection and compliance.

Essential Requirements:

  • Be able to work away for a week at a time 
  • Cert III or above in Conservation and Land Management.
  • ACDC Licence, Chainsaw ticket, White Card.
  • Experience in ecological restoration / weed control.
  • Physically fit and able to work in challenging field environments and not be afraid of hard work.

Desirable Requirements - while not mandatory, we encourage applications from candidates who possess the following:

  • 4x4 driving certification.
  • Working at heights certification.
  • Industry inductions (e.g. ISI, Standard 11).
  • Advanced flora ID skills and restoration experience.
