  • $96,462.87 - $102,899.84 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

  • Based at our Principal Depot in Charlton.

About the position

The Toowoomba Regional Council's Parks and Recreation Services Branch is seeking a motivated person to coordinate the operational delivery of Conservation and Pest Management services. This role will oversee the day-to-day delivery of services ranging from maintaining trails and recreational facilities (including day use and camping areas at Council's water supply Dams) to roadside weed management throughout the region, and prescribed burning in our bushland parks. This role will contribute to the development and lead the implementation of effective service standards and reporting to ensure residents and visitors enjoy a positive experience of the landscapes and nature-based recreation opportunities our region has to offer. 

About you

With a background in managing operational teams charged with the maintenance of bushland parks and/or the treatment of invasive plants and animals on roads and other Council managed lands, you will have a passion for our natural environment and enjoy working and recreating in the great outdoors. We are looking for someone who enjoys a balance between office and field work, and who can manage geographically dispersed teams maintaining bushland parks and managing invasive plants and animals. Working closely with our Conservation and Pest Management Service team, you will have experience in converting strategic directions into actions and maintaining agreed levels of service.
