Are you passionate about making impactful changes and excited at the opportunity to deliver a world class water sensitive city?
A permanent opportunity has become available for an Integrated Water Cycle Engineer to develop and facilitate the delivery of CN's Water-Sensitive City (WSC) Action Plan as a key deliverable of the Newcastle Environment Strategy (NES) and CN's 10-year road map for a sustainable Newcastle.
As a member of our team, you won't just work for the city; you'll co-create it. Here, your ideas and efforts directly shape the places where you and your community live, work, and play.
You will apply your skills and experience to identify opportunities to drive CN to becoming a water-sensitive city through governance, community engagement, adaptive infrastructure, resource efficiency and mitigation of flood impacts, as well as enhancing open spaces and ecological health through creating public spaces that collect, clean and recycle water.
As the subject matter expert you will also provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding the application of best practice urban water management and facilitate the integration of water-sensitive city principles into CN's policies, plans and projects.
