Located on the Cooper Creek in the far north of South Australia the role of Ranger (OPS2) is a critical component in the small but dynamic Outback District team. Reporting to the OPS6 Ranger in Charge, Innamincka, the Ranger is responsible for contributing to the effective operational management of parks and reserves within the District, specifically Innamincka Regional Reserve, Malkumba - Coongie Lakes National Park and Strzelecki Regional Reserve. Core responsibilities surround supporting the management of park conservation and wildlife values, ensuring park visitors enjoy a safe and memorable experience. The Ranger supports the maintenance and presentation of park facilities and assets, participates in fire and emergency response, and works with key partners, including park neighbours, conservation partners, volunteers, and Aboriginal communities.

Contract: Ongoing.

Remuneration: OPS2 $58,709 min - $63,154 max p.a., plus 13.1% loading for weekends/public holidays worked.
