The Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator is a dedicated position funded by the Australian Government’s Natural Heritage Trust to June 2028. The role is a designated central contact point for farmers, landholders, industry, and community groups and will support sustainable agriculture practices in Southern Queensland. The role forms part of a national network of Sustainable Agriculture Facilitators.
About the role
This role provides the chance to work with diverse landscapes, communities, and farming methods across Southern Queensland. It combines engagement and outreach, making it perfect for someone passionate about sustainable agriculture. Key responsibilities include supporting internal and external sustainable agriculture projects and capacity building, staying up to date with emerging trends, and communicating success stories. The role also offers great opportunities for professional development through industry seminars, workshops, and learning events.

About you
We are seeking someone with a strong interest in sustainable agriculture, the ability to influence stakeholders and work autonomously and within a team.
