Description

Based in the field, this hands-on SUPERVISOR position involves leading small discrete teams to ensure that our projects are completed to the highest possible standards. High levels of planning, communication and delegation are required.

Desirable Knowledge and Competencies

• 2 years experience in bushland restoration with experience leading a team
• Cert 3 in Conservation and Land Management
• Ability to lead and provide direction to staff (or contractors) within your team, so as to achieve required project outcomes;
• Ability to implement a work plan and site assess priorities
• Plant identification skills – including pest plants and natives
• Able to undertake daily administrative functions in electronic version, including DRS, safety documentation, timesheets and retrieving site directives.
• Experience with bush regeneration including weed treatment methods
• Current ACDC license
• Current drivers license

Remuneration

A range of scalable pay rates are available depending on your level of supervisor experience and qualifications. Pay is above the industry award rate and may include additional allowances.

Bushcare work a 9 day fortnight and ‘clock on’ from our depot in Bethania.
