An opportunity to be part of a panel of MEL consultants providing advice on the Australian Government's Climate Resilient Communities program in the Indo-Pacific, covering the Pacific, Southeast Asia and South Asia regions.
About the Program
Initiated in July 2024, Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) aims to ensure people in the Indo-Pacific are more resilient to climate change and disasters.
Led by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), CRC supports implementation of Australia's climate change commitments and International Development Policy, in line with partner government priorities. CRC incentivises funding towards inclusive climate and disaster resilience programming, with a focus on the water, food, and energy sectors. It does this by increasing climate investments, driving climate integration, and better addressing climate and disaster risk across Australia's development portfolio.
DT Global has been engaged by DFAT to support implementation of CRC.
About the Role
CRC is recruiting MEL consultants to join its MEL Panel. Panel members will provide high-quality technical and strategic MEL advice and capacity development across Indo-Pacific countries. Consultants on the Panel work on program activities and plans at the regional or country level, with DFAT staff, partner governments and implementing partners across DFAT's climate portfolio.
A range of opportunities arise for consultants on the Panel. Consultants with experience working in Indo-Pacific, with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply, including early career.
About You
CRC is looking to engage consultants with skills, expertise and experience in the following areas:
