Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an Environmental Scientist to join our Environment team in either our Canberra or Wagga Wagga office.

Our team is dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions for major projects, including in renewable energy, transport, water and other various environmental projects.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Environmental approvals and planning for a broad range of projects, including landmark multidisciplinary projects across NSW and nationally.
  • Contributing to projects in energy, resources, property, transport and water and for public and private sector clients
  • Designing and coordinating the delivery of environmental impact assessment studies and environmental management plans 
  • Field work that includes environmental monitoring site inspections, and preparing technical reports

What you will bring to the team:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar consulting or government role.
  • A sound understanding of environmental legislation and issues.
  • Proven experience in the preparation of environmental impact assessments.
  • Experience in developing and implementing environmental management plans or environmental management systems.
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, or a related field.
