The team leader cultural science position is being job-shared for a period of two-years. The role co-leads of a small team undertaking cultural science projects. The Cultural Science team conducts research into enabling Aboriginal people and cultural wisdom into environmental programs. You will be co-leading a team researching in the areas of climate change, fire management, Aboriginal heritage and cultural monitoring. We are seeking an Aboriginal person who is driven to co-manage a program focused on understanding the challenges and finding solutions to realising Aboriginal cultural outcomes in environmental management and planning (caring for Country)
About You
To be successful in the role you will need high level knowledge and experience in providing cultural and scientific advice and project management. You will also need to demonstrate cultural and scientific communication skills. A key aspect of the role is supporting and growing Aboriginal cultural science staff.
