We specialise in landscape restoration and land regeneration, serving a diverse range of projects throughout NSW and ACT. We are currently seeking Field Officers to enhance our Bush Regeneration team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about environmental conservation and land management, ready to contribute to high-impact projects.

Role Overview: As a Field Officer, you will work across various projects focusing on conservation, land regeneration, and biodiversity offset enhancement. This role involves hands-on bush regeneration with weed control, invasive species management, erosion control projects and regenerative agriculture projects all in supporting ecosystem recovery. Current projects are within the Hunter Valley, Riverina and ACT regions.

Role Conditions: This position requires adaptability and a readiness to travel, with projects located throughout NSW and ACT. Field Officers will be required travel and to stay on-site for extended periods. To support this commitment, we offer competitive remuneration, including travel allowances and accommodation for longer assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bush Regeneration: Participate in native bushland restoration, planting, habitat management, and erosion control, fostering ecosystem resilience and biodiversity.
  • Adaptive Weed Management: Employ targeted weed control techniques, including manual and chemical applications, monitor weed populations, and ensure accurate identification of invasive species.
  • Pest Management: Apply control strategies to minimise pest impacts, supporting the recovery and maintenance of native ecosystems.
  • Monitoring and Data Collection: GPS record and track progress, document species types and control methods used, and assist in reporting restoration outcomes.
  • Mapping and Site Assessment: Assist with environmental mapping, data collection, and condition assessments to support project goals.
  • Health, Safety, and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure safe and effective use of equipment and chemicals, adhere to WHS policies, and maintain field tools for all project tasks.

Requirements:

This position will provide on job training however previous experience in bush regeneration, weed spraying and farm management is desired. 

Ideally candidates will have or a willingness to achieve:

  • Chemical AQF3 Chemical Certificate
  • Ability to pass a Police Check
  • Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol tests
  • Physically fit 
  • Hold a current drivers license
  • OHS White Card
