About the positions

The Treasurer will play a vital role partnering with the Board to develop a Financial and Risk management framework that enables implementation of the Nature Network’s inaugural Strategic Plan.

Generalist Advisors will draw on their industry experience, strengths and connections to  guide the development of the Strategic Plan in alignment with the Nature Network’s Blueprint for Action. The role will support Board members to achieve the objectives and goals within their respective portfolios. Working closely with the Facilitator and Chair, Generalist Advisors will support change, growth, and the development of an inclusive and agile culture.

These are voluntary positions which sit on our Board. The roles would suit a collaborative, self-motivated person with strengths in not-for-profit governance, board advisory, management and strategy implementation. Experience in the Natural Resource Management (NRM) sector is desired.

Board members are expected to attend a monthly board meeting either online or in person, on the first Monday of each month from 17.30 to 19.30 hrs. There may be an occasional extra ordinary meeting.

These roles will provide a platform to contribute to, and positively impact important environmental and community outcomes for the Greater Bendigo region.
