About the role:
This role is responsible for providing high-level support to the Co-Leadership Team and implementing executive decision, organisational priorities and strategic initiatives in line with our vision and values.
Key duties:
- Provide executive support to the Co-Leadership Team on operational needs
- Organise and prioritise workflow with the Co-Leadership Team
- Coordinate and undertake project work
- Undertake research and consultation to support informed decision-making
- Prepare and present operational updates to the Co-Leadership Team and staff
- Support organisational planning and management strategies
- Develop, implement, and review company policies
- Provide high-level administrative support, including but not limited to booking trave and accommodation, event coordination, organise and coordinate internal and external meetings, and negotiation of quotes, proposals and reports
- Manage calendars, diaries, and correspondence for the Co-Leadership Team
About you:
- You will have the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and short deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Sound proficiency with Microsoft Office (excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational skills, accurate data entry and detail oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to Firesticks’ mission and values, with a track record of working with Indigenous communities and individuals to create positive impact
- Ability to work as part of and across teams
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally, at times, and thus required to hold a current driver’s licence
- Ability to work flexibly
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in delivery of high-level business, administration and/or administrative support
- Previous experience in a not-for-profit organisation would be highly regarded
- Experience within fast-paced settings is preferable
- Qualifications in Business Administration or related fields is desirable
