The District Officer role provides support and advice to regional communities to help them protect and conserve the natural environment from pest plant and animal species.

The District Officer will be responsible for the development and delivery of on-ground projects, working across both public and private land to help safeguard ecological and agricultural assets.

About you:

The successful candidate will need to develop strong relationships and possess effective communication skills to engage with the regional community. As part of the Riverland District team, you will work alongside other motivated team members for support. Effective time management and an understanding of the importance of work health and safety are required for the role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products is expected and familiarity with mapping and data collection systems is a bonus.
