About Habitat Creations

Habitat Creations is a family-owned company specialising in Environment, Landscaping, Open Space Maintenance and Horticulture. Our teams create and maintain some of Victoria's most beautiful and sustainable soft landscapes, including urban parks, waterways and wetlands. Our Environment teams play a critical role in the maintenance and rehabilitation of high-value natural areas including remnant vegetation, parks and reserves, waterways, remote and modified landscapes.

The opportunity

This is a senior management position that requires strong business acumen, project management experience, planning and strategy skills, and leadership ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations, lead workplace culture and safety, and secure a consistent pipeline of contracts and projects in line with our mission to ‘create a healthier environment for all living communities.’ To have a real impact, and to effectively partner with our clients to achieve positive environmental outcomes, the role requires a relevant tertiary qualification and/or sufficient conservation/environment industry experience.

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification with demonstrated project management experience
  • Conservation and Environment Industry experience with a strong network in place
  • Previous experience in a similar senior management role involving strategic planning, budgets, sales, and workforce planning
  • Technical Writing & Strategy Development
  • Problem Solving & Analysis
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation
  • Current Driver’s License
