Biodiversity Conversation & Science is currently seeking to appoint a Team Leader Ecotoxicology.

In the role you’ll be required to design and lead the delivery of scientific services and projects to support DCCEEW’s internal and external stakeholders in line with Departmental priorities and agreements.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • An ability to develop, lead and deliver high quality, cost-effective scientific services and projects relating to ecotoxicology and/or environmental forensics
  • Appropriate knowledge and expertise in ecotoxicology and/or environmental forensics to provide expert advice on contamination issues in NSW and provide expert evidence/opinion in court proceedings against alleged polluters.
  • Experience in managing a laboratory and associated quality systems and animal ethics requirements

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant scientific qualifications and demonstrated experience in developing and leading rigorous projects in ecotoxicology and/or environmental forensics and/or in a related scientific discipline.
