Looking for an enthusiastic, punctual, and reliable team member who is physically fit with a strong work ethic. Field experience preferred or Cert. III CEM currently studying as a minimum requirement.

EcoRegen provides bushland weed management services from micro to macro level (by hand, hand tools, chainsaw plus some backpack herbicide spraying) and revegetation. We work throughout the Mornington Peninsula and Westernport delivering works for organisations such as Melbourne Water, Parks Vic, Committees of Management, and various Local Councils.

  • You will be required to drive to sites directly so your own vehicle is important.

Current Position Offered:

  • Our current contracts are primarily at the lower end of the Mornington Peninsula so applicants with excessive travel times to sites will not be considered.
  • The next 6 months is mainly woody weed works involving hand pull + handsaw C+P whilst traversing across hectarage.
  • Knowing your indigenous plants and dicot weeds of the Mornington Peninsula will assist your application.
  • The job is offered on a casual basis with award to above-award conditions for suitably experienced employees.
  • The position is as a casual at an average of 3 days per week.

Ideally your skills & qualifications would include:

  • Minimum Cert. III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
  • Sound knowledge of indigenous and exotic vegetation plus weed control and revegetation techniques.
  • Relevant field experience in this industry including chainsaw use plus understanding herbicides and their application.
  • Chemcert & ACUP
  • First Aid Level 2
  • Chainsaw Level 1 (Operate & Maintain Chainsaws)
  • Construction OHS Induction (White/Red Card)
  • Working with Children
  • Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
