HVP Plantations is a successful privately owned manager of extensive timber plantations across Victoria.

We are seeking Safety Partners to join our regions in Churchill (Gippsland) and Myrtleford (North-East Victoria) on a Permanent Full-Time basis. 

Reporting to the relevant Regional General Manager, these two positions offer both operational and corporate responsibilities. If you're passionate about safety and ready to lead initiatives, we want to hear from you!

A day in the life…

• Work closely with GM Safety to implement HVP safety systems in accordance with legislation and regulations.
• Consolidate staff training in HVP Safety Management Systems.
• Develop and conduct audits/inspections.
• Champion safety initiatives and collaborate with contractors to ensure best practices.
• Support Functional Managers on safety related issues.
• Lead regional safety days and activities.
• Provide expert advice on high-risk operations, including contractor safety management.
• Participate in operational forums, as requested. 
• Contribute to general interest safety community outcomes, as requested.

Other information

• These two positions are located at Churchill, Gippsland and Myrtleford, North-East Victoria with duties across our HVP Regions. 
• Work in our Melbourne Office will be required from time to time to deliver these roles, and at times, overnight travel. A current Australian driver’s licence is required.
• Further studies in Health & Safety (Diploma in OH&S or a Certificate IV OH&S) and contemporary workplace experience in the field, or experience in safety auditing would be well regarded.
