Large family farm 45mins from Geelong and Ballarat or 90mins from Melbourne is seeking a person to help with spot-spraying weeds in our native grasslands at our Cressy site. These are areas of extreme environmental value so dedication to the task and precision is required.

This is an ongoing position for the right person with busy periods in late winter and during spring. Starting ASAP with a month full-time followed by approximately one day per week until next busy period.

All chemicals, spray unit, other equipment and PPE will be provided. You will be paid as an employee of the farm.

You need to be able to work independently, keep records and have high attention to detail. Some ability to identify different plant types is beneficial. We will give you detailed instructions to carry out the task. Ability to drive small tractor or quad is useful but not essential as most spraying is on foot.

Preferably you have done chemical safety training or are willing to do so, or have extensive experience in the field.

Need to be physically fit and available immediately. Pay $30-$40 per hour depending on experience.
