Duties

Lead and develop plans and strategies at a variety of scales to mitigate the impact of bushfire within Tasmania. Provide complex operational and technical support to TFS staff and other stakeholders, and carry out fire management and suppression activities.

  • Period of Appointment: Fixed-Term, Full time – until 30 June 2025
  • Hours per fortnight: 73.5 hours per fortnight
  • Location: Launceston

Desirable Requirements

  • A qualification in an area relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken.
  • A fireground supervision qualification.
  • A current driver’s license.
