The Technical Officer is responsible for provision of efficient and accurate curatorial and research support services for the State Herbarium.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Scientific Officer Knowledge Management and Curator of Cryptogams, the Technical Officer is responsible for provision of a range of efficient and accurate curatorial and research support services for the State Herbarium, including processing cryptogam specimens, undertaking and supporting field and grant activities, and assisting with BGSH Science operations, which supports the maintenance and enhancement of an up to date reference plant, algae and fungi collection, and an increased knowledge of South Australian flora.

Part-Time, 2 year Contract

Essential Qualifications:

A relevant tertiary qualification is essential.

Remuneration:

TGO1, $48,788 min - $70,032 max p.a., pro rata for part time hours.
