Working as part of the water team the Water Project Officer will play a key role in the planning and delivery of water management and monitoring projects and initiatives while providing high quality customer service and advice in response to water related matters.

Good community engagement skills are required to effectively work with a range of stakeholders including volunteers, community and industry, to deliver key board water projects, including management and protection of Great Artesian Basin Springs and adoption of best practices for water resources and use. The successful applicant will also have strong project management skills to support these projects and demonstrate an understanding of sustainable water resource management.

Located in Adelaide, this role also has a regular presence in Port Augusta, and requires remote distance outback driving and overnight absences.
