Bushworx is sourcing a highly motivated Supervisor to join our environmental team. Our environmentally passionate company strives for excellence in the field of Bushland Management Operations.
The primary duties of the supervisor:
- To manage/supervise and have the ability to work within the bushland regeneration crews to a high degree of competence
- Ensure completion of works to established targets and timeframes
- Daily documentation and reporting
- Oversee and implement Workplace Health and Safety Procedures.
- Assists Manager with Quotations and liaising with clients
- Communicates and report directly to the Manager.
Successful applicant must be willing to work in all areas of the company when required.
Selection Criteria
Mandatory Criteria
- Must have current Construction Safety Card (White Card)
- Must have manual C Class Licence
- Demonstrated a minimum of 2 years’ field experience in Bushland Regeneration
- Demonstrated a minimum of 3 years’ experience managing/supervising Bushland Management Teams or equivalent.
- Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to complete works to established targets and timeframes
- Demonstrated the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
- Must be physically fit and motivated to work in a variety of challenging outdoor environments
- Extensive knowledge in Southeast Queensland native and exotic plant identification
- Demonstrated sound communication skills and the ability to delegate tasks.
- Demonstrated sound time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow, oversee and implement Workplace Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Demonstrated sound administration skills including, computer skills, the use of Microsoft office suite, report writing and project planning and implementation.
Desirable Criteria
- Current ACDC Licence
- Current Senior First Aid
- Chainsaw Certificate level 1 & 2
