We have strong reputation for technical excellence in the delivery of engineering and scientific services, with specialised skills across coastal and marine, hydrogeology, hydrology, and hydraulics, integrated water management, geomorphology, environmental planning, civil and environmental engineering. We are dedicated to work that improves communities and the environment, by combining science, engineering, and practical design. We have over 140 team members across Australia and New Zealand.

We have an opportunity for a Group Lead to join the NSW team to look after team of scientists and engineers in Climate Risk and Approvals group. This is a key leadership role for the region.

As the Group Lead you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to nurture client relationships
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects on time and on budget  

This is a unique role in a unique consultancy. Some of the skills and traits that will support your success in this role includes:

  • Consultancy experience - this is essential - in at least one the following disciplines:
    • Natural hazard risk management, with a focus on flooding
    • Environmental Impact Assessments
    • Planning and adaptation
  • Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary team
  • Tertiary qualification in environmental science or engineering
  • Expertise in environmental planning, environmental compliance, policies, EMS, EIA
  • Expertise in evaluation of environmental and infrastructure resilience
