Your Role
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact through research? We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team in Perth to participate in a groundbreaking program of research focused on addressing the needs of Indigenous people and communities.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to quantify the health and well-being benefits of ecological restoration activities for individuals and communities. Your work will also involve assessing potential economic benefits stemming from eco-health approaches to public health and community wellbeing.
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing a framework for the restoration of Country as a public health intervention. Your research will contribute to establishing a baseline of causal links between human health status and ecosystem degradation and restoration, ultimately identifying the most effective restoration actions to improve human health outcomes.
Additionally, you will have the chance to collaborate with the Curtin and UWA Healing Country CIs, Indigenous research users, and industry partners within the Healing Country network. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the research direction, contributing to the School and Curtin University's mission, and mentoring post-graduate students.
