You will contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage, and work with the Aboriginal community through the joint management of the Worimi Conservation Lands. The Hunter Coast Area is small, busy and highly diverse, consisting of offshore islands, high visitation parks, and the largest mobile dune system in the southern hemisphere.

You will lead and supervise a large team of field staff, and co-ordinate works program planning and reporting across the area as well as monitor and report on works program expenditure.
You will work closely with the Area Manager, Team Leader Ranger and Worimi Conservation Lands Board of Management, and be integral in managing day-to-day operational works to ensure the delivery of priority projects and programs. Through leadership and the fostering of a professional culture you will assist your team in delivering work to a high standard across the Hunter Coast Area.
About you
