The role

As our Climate Action and Sustainability Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping and driving our Climate Change Strategy and sustainability programs, ensuring they are innovative, effective and impactful. You’ll be the expert guiding our climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives and your strategic insights will help us achieve a net zero future and strengthen our resilience against climate change effects.

You’ll use your skills in data analysis to solve long-term environmental sustainability issues. You’ll also develop accounting and reporting systems for complex regulatory subjects, including greenhouse gas emissions and broader environmental sustainability initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • A tertiary degree or significant experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience applying environmental sustainability principles to solve complex issues.
  • Understanding of contemporary climate change and sustainability obligations and regulatory responsibilities in the water industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to be innovative and collaborative to drive positive change.
  • Highly developed project management skills.
