Field Officer Urban Forest
We are seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated, and well-organised individual with substantial experience in arboriculture. This role will provide assistance to the Urban Forest sub-unit, pertaining to the effective delivery of the City’s tree planting and maintenance program, and other arboriculture related programs.
You will support the Technical Officer Arborist with the arboriculture programs and projects, undertake tree assessments to determine health, condition, and structural integrity, and provide arboriculture advice and support to City employees, contractors and residents.
The right person for this position will be able to work independently with limited supervision, be passionate about their career progression and in conjunction with the City of Joondalup Support be prepared to obtain the necessary Certificates and Qualifications.
To be successful for this position you will have a minimum of two years’ experience in arboriculture/ tree assessment management and either hold or willing to obtain the following mandatory tickets and qualifications:
