If you are someone who is a team player and has strong project management skills, including evaluation and monitoring, your strength is in natural resource management planning then this is the job for you. The MERI and Planning Officer is the critical link between all of the SA Arid Lands Landscape Board's programs through supporting successful project delivery,. This includes reporting, achieving milestones, as well as evaluation and identifying improvements for projects all with  time pressures.

You will be supporting and working with a success-driven, collaborative, fun and multi-disciplinary team, each working with community, industry, First Nations groups, conservation sector and many other partners in protecting, managing, restoring and sustaining our environment and it's many values. 

This role will provide you an outstanding opportunity to be a part of shaping and planning the future of the board and community as it applies to the protection and management of the SA Arid Lands unique natural resources. 

You will relish the opportunity to cross collaborate with colleagues across the State's nine Landscape Boards and will be a part of networks established to support state level influence, policy, planning and MERI outcomes.

You are an adaptive leader, who can manage up and out to bring people along.  You are able to work autonomously and engage with all disciplines of the business and board in both strategic and operational contexts.  

This opportunity will suit someone who has proven experience in the planning and MERI area, and particularly in the NRM context, along with project management skills.   Ideally you will be based in our regional Port Augusta office with consideration given to  being based in our Adelaide office.
