Help us improve our natural environment and support sustainable agriculture!
About Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare Network
WCLN is a community based natural environment organisation operating in Warrnambool and Moyne municipalities. We support a number of 'Friends of' and Landcare-type groups in the region. We successfully partner with local and regional government and non-government organisations and groups to achieve our goals. We undertake projects to protect and improve biodiversity, including working with farmers and other land managers to improve sustainability outcomes for agriculture and nature.
The Opportunity
We have funding until April 2026 to employ a 3 day/week Landcare Facilitator. We are hopeful that ongoing funding will continue the position beyond 2026. You will join our small Landcare Team based at the beautiful Sherwood Park campus of Deakin University in Warrnambool. As part of the team you will help us achieve our ambitious objectives. We can offer a starting hourly rate of $36.54 plus superannuation, leave loading and a guaranteed annual pay increase. Depending on project funding we may be able to offer additional hours if you are interested. We offer a working environment in which you will collaborate, learn, grow and achieve satisfying outcomes with the team and individually.
Our Vision
People in Warrnambool and the wider region enjoy and support a sustainable and biodiverse natural environment.
