About the role

Reporting to the Contaminated Lands (CL) Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of CL investigations from preliminary site investigations through to remediation projects to JBS&G and our clients. You will also be actively participating in activities that contribute to the future development of the business and your own career.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage project teams on high-profile and technically complex projects.
  • Coordinate and undertake site investigation including, site inspections, due diligence assessment, intrusive investigations, monitoring programs and remedial works.
  • Prepare high quality reports consistent with relevant guidance, ensuring technical defensibility.
  • Develop relationships with clients and ensure high quality customer service throughout projects.
  • Prepare proposals, ensuring accurate cost calculations and appropriate scoping.
  • Collaborate on business development initiatives that contribute to company growth.

About you:

  • 4-8 years' experience in various environmental services involving a range of sampling methodologies for soil, soil vapor, indoor air, ambient air, hazardous materials, groundwater, and surface water.
  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Engineering is essential, with an understanding of earth sciences highly desirable.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write accurate reports and complex proposals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Experience in environmental project management and comprehension of applicable WA Env/Contaminated Sites (CS) legislation and WA and National CS guidelines.
  • Full drivers' licence, and willingness to obtain a police and medical clearance.
