Citywide is recruiting for Head Gardeners and Qualified Gardeners to work within our prestigious open space contract in Melbourne's CBD, maintaining some of the City's most iconic parks and gardens.

• Depots across the CBD.
• Monday to Friday 7am to 3.06pm.

Responsibilities of the roles include but are not limited to:

• Plant selection.
• General garden bed maintenance.
• Mulching.
• Formative Pruning.
• Weeding.
• Watering and irrigation maintenance.
• Operate and maintain various horticultural machinery.

Skills and experience required:

• Previous relevant experience in a similar role.
• Cert 3 or Cert 4 in Horticulture or equivalent.
• MR Licence (Desirable).
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
• Knowledge of herbicide application techniques (Desirable).
• Traffic Management experience (Desirable).
• First Aid (Desirable).
• Cert 3 Chemical User.
• Disease and Pest Control Identification Certificate (Desirable).
• Excellent work ethic.
• Team player.
• Motivated.
• Good communication skills.
• Focus on safety of self and others.
