As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, understanding their unique challenges and collaborating with them to develop comprehensive solutions that leverage Faunatech's cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding our market presence within the Australian government, research institutions, and environmental consulting firms.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management:

  • Identify and prioritize high-value Tier 1 accounts within the target sectors.
  • Develop personalized account plans with clear objectives, strategies, and touchpoints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within each account.
  • Drive revenue growth through upsells, cross-sells, and renewals.

Solution Selling:

  • Understand the unique needs and pain points of each client.
  • Position Faunatech's acoustic monitoring solutions as a strategic asset for achieving their environmental and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, customer success) to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Australian market.
  • Represent Faunatech at industry conferences, events, and workshops to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and content that resonate with key stakeholders.

Thought Leadership:

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and research in acoustic monitoring and environmental conservation.
  • Share your expertise through presentations, webinars, and publications, positioning yourself and Faunatech as thought leaders in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Environment: A genuine commitment to environmental conservation and a strong understanding of the challenges facing Australian ecosystems.
  • Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years of successful experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the environmental, scientific, or technology sectors.
  • Strong Relationship Building Skills: Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, government officials, and executives.
  • Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of acoustic monitoring technology and its applications in various industries.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term account plans aligned with organizational goals.
