Due to our growing portfolio of commercial, residential landscape and natural resource projects, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Leading Hand who will lead a team to maintain the natural spaces we create.

Your role will be to lead a small team to maintain a wide variety of natural elements within our projects located within Melbourne's Northern and Western Suburbs, reporting to our supervisor.

The role:

  • Lead the specialist maintenance of native vegetation including remnant vegetation and restored landscapes, wetlands and creek corridors, and open space maintenance.
  • General maintenance of turf, lawn, native vegetation, advanced trees, garden beds.

About you:

  • Qualifications in Landscape or Horticulture related industry is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, plants, and weeds.
  • Demonstrable experience with equipment such as 'brush cutters', mowers and other general horticultural equipment will be looked upon favourably.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work either in a team or autonomously.
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
  • Current Drivers License.
  • Construction Induction Card.
  • Chemical User Certificate, ACUP or relevant training.
