The Role:

• Lead a team and provide guidance and direction on a range of diverse environmental projects to ensure they are managed on time and within budget.
• Undertake habitat revegetation, biodiversity & bushcare projects, weed control, hydroseeding & native seeding, and bushfire mitigation & prevention activities.
• Engage with staff, clients and members of the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Adhere to all work health and safety guidelines and best practices including incident reporting.

About You:

• Previous experience in environmental or natural resource management.
• Knowledge in plant identification of South Australian plants and weeds.
• Diploma in Conservation and Land Management and/or Certificate II in Horticulture or equivalent.
• Staff supervisory experience in a similar Team Leader role.
• Positive attitude and work ethic.
• Attention to detail and a track record of producing quality work.
• Current White Card, Police and DHS clearances are required or willing to obtain.
