ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Environmental Consultant to assist in the development and delivery of a range of behaviour change projects to improve sustainability outcomes; primarily in waste management, through improved individual and community actions and engagement. 

The role will include:

  • Input into the design of strategic behaviour change programs and services
  • Delivery of education and engagement interventions to a range of stakeholders
  • Desktop research, fieldwork data gathering, analysis and reporting

EnviroCom has offices in Brisbane and Birtinya (QLD), Sydney and Orange (NSW), Dandenong (VIC) and Hume (ACT). 

The offices work primarily as small teams to deliver projects within each geographic region, but also assist other branches with specialised skills or to meet specific project needs. This will result in regional as well as interstate travel on occasions.

ABOUT YOU

You will be an environmentally and creatively minded individual, who wishes to participate in all aspects of Envirocom services. 

  • 12 to 36 months post-graduate work experience - preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Enjoy working in a small but high-energy team environment  
  • Be a proactive participant in your own learning and development
  • Tertiary qualifications in a sustainability or environmental field
  • Demonstrated interest in community education, behavior change and communication
  • Knowledge of environmental and sustainability issues, particularly within the field of waste management
  • Willingness to engage in physical research projects including waste segregation assessments, bin inspection programs and educational intervention programs
  • The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Class C drivers licence (essential)
