Sustainable Outdoors is a small family owned business based in Fremantle area that offers environmental weed control and revegetation and native landscaping to clients within the Perth area. We are taking applications for our field team.

The role consists of a variety of work in environmental bushland restoration and residential landscaping including seasonal chemical weed control, hand weeding, bushland revegetation, erosion control, streetscape maintenance and pruning, reticulation installs, soil preparation, planting, mulching and occasional paving. This is an exciting mix of tasks that will keep you engaged and learning new skills.

  • Wanting to work full time; Mon-Fri with 6:30am starts.
  • Have reliable personal transport and a manual WA Drivers Licence.
  • Attention to detail, genuine care and passionate about the environment and creating high quality landscape projects.
  • Physically fit, self-motivated and capable of demanding outdoor team work.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Landscaping construction and practices know-how can-do.

Additionally, applicants with the following attributes will be considered favourably:

  • Identification knowledge of native bushland plants and weeds.
  • Previous landscaping experience, reticulation design & installs, operating a dingo mini loader.
  • Mechanical aptitude (chainsaw/brush cutter/blower etc) and using 2-stroke fuel.

The following personal licences and qualifications are required to be provided pre-employment:

  • WA Drivers Licence
  • Police clearance
  • OH&S White Card
  • Pesticide licence medical and application form.

As part of the employment process you may be required to undertake a paid work trial to determine suitability. We have a no-tolerance drug and alcohol policy.
