What we are looking for?

Council is looking for two Natural Reserves Senior Rangers to join our Parks and Vegetation team within the Operations Department. The roles will be responsible for delivering flora and fauna maintenance programs within Coastal and Bushland areas. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing maintenance programs to enhance biodiversity and horticultural presentation within coastal and bushland reserves and public open space in accordance with best practice flora and fauna management techniques and utilising specialist plant and equipment.

About you

  • Certificate III or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management or related discipline.
  • Experience maintaining and enhancing Parks and Conservation Areas.
  • A strong understanding of safe work practices.

This position is a Band 4 currently remunerated between $69,384 to $73,838 per annum, plus superannuation.
